You can get the appropriate values to insert into the calculator either from your ingame character menu by pressing P, and opening the stat details section, or from a character builder site like questlog.gg.
When using questlog builds remember to increase the values of Min Damage and Max Damage by 10% or 15% if you use Stellarite.
Make sure you have the weapon using the skill set as currently active to get the correct values. Not only does it influence Min and Max Damage, but via Mastery also values like Skill Damage Boost.
PvP damage calculation is still experimental and numbers can differ slightly from those seen ingame.

Attacker

Damage Min Minimum Damage of the weapon using the skill (P menu).

Damage Max Maximum Damage of the weapon using the skill (P menu)

Skill Damage Boost Skill Damage Boost value (P menu)

Hit Hitrate of corresponding weapon - Melee, Magic, Ranged (P menu)

Bonus Damage Bonus Damage value (P menu)

Heavy Attack If opponent has heavy attack evasion, reduce your heavy attack by that value. Melee, Magic, Ranged (P menu)

Critical Hit Melee, Magic, Ranged (P menu)

Critical Damage Critical Damage value (P menu)

Select Skill Skill on max level. To test a lower level manually enter values. Choose a skill Custom

Base Damage (%) Number on the left in skill description.

Additional Damage Number on the right of skill description.

Charging Multiplier By default 1. If the skill does higher damage when charged, add this here. e.g. for 120% more damage add 1.2 (so it will be 2.2)

PvE Multiplier By default 1. Additional damage in pve. e.g. if the skill does 40% more damage to monsters add 0.4 -> 1.4

Special Multiplier By default 1. If the skill does more damage in certain circumstances. For example 30% on prone targets, add 0.3 -> 1.3

Results

Crit Rate (%) Skill crit rate taking enemy endurance into account.

Glancing Rate (%) When enemy endurance is higher than your crit, he can force you to do minimum damage. This is glancing.

Hit Rate (%) Skill hit rate. Auto attacks can miss even if your hit is higher than enemy evasion.

Heavy Attack Rate (%) Probability of heavy attack (2x damage).

Minimum Damage The minimum damage the skill (hit) will do.

Maximum Damage The maximum damage the skill (hit) will do.

Critical Damage Damage of a critical hit. Do not confuse with heavy attack. Maximum damage plus ritical damage. Heavy will be 2x always.

Average Damage Average damage done per skill use, taking into account hit, crit, glancing and heavy.
